Welcome to Peterborough Banners. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please review them carefully.

1. Accepted File Formats

To ensure smooth processing of your order and optimal results, we accept artwork in these formats:

PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, and JPEG

Ensure files are at least 300 DPI for best clarity.
Add a 2-inch bleed on all sides to avoid unintentional cropping during finishing.

2. Artwork & Proofing Process

Once you provide your artwork:

We check your file and ready it for printing.
Please note: We do not support Pantone colours. All artwork converts to CMYK, which may lead to slight colour variations.
We will send a digital proof for approval unless the file is print-ready.
You must verify spelling, layout, and colours before signing off.
Written approval via email is mandatory before production starts.
Approvals received after 1:00 PM may delay production to the next business day.

Minor colour differences (usually within 10–15%) can occur due to monitor calibration and printing processes.

3. Product Standards & Finishing Notes

Our expertise lies in large-format prints intended for viewing from 2 metres or more, not for close examination.

Size tolerance: expect small variances of about 2–5 cm.
Banners under 10 feet in height are produced as a single piece.
Larger banners may have professionally aligned joins to maintain your design.
A hemming fee applies to banners smaller than 60 sq. ft.

4. Shipping & Packaging Guidelines

Turnaround times begin post artwork approval (not payment).

Standard dispatch occurs within 5–6 working days.
Items larger than 110 cm x 110 cm may be folded for delivery. Light creasing or slight discolouration from folding is not considered a defect.
If you prefer your banner rolled, choose the “Rolled on Tube” option at checkout (additional charges may apply).
Delivery times, including express options, are calculated at checkout.

5. Express Services

Priority production is available for urgent orders:

Same-day
24-hour
48-hour
72-hour service (subject to availability and artwork complexity)

Express jobs must be approved before 1:00 PM. Late approvals may result in a 50% express surcharge to meet the selected timeframe.

6. Returns & Refunds Policy

Given the custom nature of our products, returns are accepted only in these cases:

Print defects
Incorrect size not matching the approved specification
Missing finishing elements (e.g. eyelets or pole pockets)

What You Need to Do:

Report issues within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Include your order number and photos taken from 2 metres away clearly showing the issue.

Important Notes:

Do not accept parcels with visibly damaged packaging—acceptance may void eligibility for transit-related claims.
If a return is approved, return shipping is your responsibility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable except where an error or defect is confirmed.
Claims made outside the 24-hour window or issues arising from customer-approved artwork (e.g. spelling errors) are not eligible.

7. Fraud Protection & Order Validation

Items are weighed and photographed before dispatch.

Submitting false refund or chargeback claims may result in legal action and recovery of associated costs. We take fraud seriously.

8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All designs, layouts, and promotional visuals created by Peterborough Banners remain our intellectual property.

With your consent, we may showcase finished products or designs for marketing on our website, social media, or other platforms.

If a refund is issued post artwork approval, a 50% design fee may be retained to cover production time and studio costs.

9. Liability & Disputes

Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Disputes shall be resolved under the laws of Cambridgeshire. Both parties agree to attempt resolution amicably before taking legal action.

10. Pricing & Validity

Prices are subject to change without notice but will be confirmed at the time of order. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Any changes in specifications may result in price adjustments.

11. Privacy & Communications

We respect your privacy. Personal data is handled as per our Privacy Policy. We may contact you via email for updates related to your order or promotional offers. You can opt out at any time.

12. Phone & SMS Consent

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive calls or SMS messages related to your orders. You may withdraw consent by contacting [email protected].

13. Final Terms

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Peterborough Banners regarding your order. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
